Milo recently came to me from a troubled background. He’s an approx 9-month-old male dog looking for a new forever home and an owner that can spoil him with attention. He is still very much a puppy and likely to grow some more. He is not neutered; he is microchipped, and I’ve just given him flea and worm treatments for good measure, although he’s never shown signs of either.

Name change note: He was previously called Rocco. His name has recently been changed to Milo to better reflect the calm, companion home he is suited for and his love of long walks. He is already responding well to his new name and has been quick to adapt, showing how intelligent and trainable he is.

Has shown aggression towards my other dog (only at feeding time and around food, never to people). Im also human to a needy parrot and another small bird, and unfortunately, I just can’t trust him with them and I’m not willing to take the risk long term.

For this reason he must be the only pet in the home. Hes absolutely perfect 99% of the time, but food is his main problem.

Has been around children previously without issue, however due to his behaviour and management needs, an adult-only home is required. Better safe than sorry.

This boy needs an experienced, confident, forever owner. Hes not suitable for first-time owners or status dog owners

Milo is a clever, switched-on dog whois currently responding incredibly well to his daily training and structure. With the right guidance, he engages well and shows good potential, but he will need continued consistency and understanding from someone experienced.

Hes very affectionate, loyal, loving and engaging with people he knows, but requires clear boundaries and careful management. This is not a quick-fix situation.

A secure home is essential, and a private garden would be ideal. He uses his massive weight to break through gates and fences. He wont go around, he goes through.
